About 550,000 units of carpet cleaners, manufactured in the US by Milliken & Company of Spartanburg, SC, were recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission due to risk of exposure to bacteria. Itinvolves Arm & Hammer, Capture, Healthy Home, Oreck, Resista and Riccar brands of dry carpet cleaners.
